Beginning Html

These very basic tutorials are for those who have never written HTML before. In this section it will teach you the absolute basics of the HTML language. After completing this tutorial you should have an fairly good undestanding of the core html needed to produce any structured webpage by writing your own html. In this area you will learn the most used tags in html which are what tells the browser how to interpret the information on your html page. By the time you get through this section you should be able to create a web page using titles, headers, text, links, and images.


Intermediate Html

This area expands on beginning html by introducing more advanced areas such as lists, tables, dividers, frames, iframes, special characters, forms, hard rule, and doctypes. In order to understand many of the concepts in this area it is highly recommended that you have read our beginning html section above.


Beginning CSS

This sections starts with the basics of using Cascading Style Sheets, otherwise known as CSS. Once you are familiar with writing a good structured HTML page that is when CSS can become handy as it will allow you to spice up your page considerably. This area will go into discussion how to style headers, paragaphs, links, and images. This includes adding color, borders, different font weights, and sizes of text.
